Armenian Songs for Voice
Armenian vocal repertoire spans many colors and has a rich history. We will be journeying through a diversity of Armenian singing styles (folk, troubadour, sacred and lullabies), giving singers nuances and vocal approaches to each style. Singers of all levels are welcome. Song translation and transliteration will be provided. Please note that this class is taught through ear training/active listening.

About Khatchadour Khatchadourian
Khatchadour is a Lebanese-Armenian vocalist and musician. He sings in Armenian, Arabic and Farsi voice, and plays the Armenian woodwind, Duduk. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Anthropology & Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Khatchadour has released five albums to date and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
