Songwriting
Ever wondered how to write a song? Are you a songwriter wondering how to level up your craft? This workshop will provide you with a toolbox of useful songwriting techniques, we’ll analyze and take inspiration from well-loved songs, you’ll produce your own new work through fun creative exercises, and spend time listening to and giving constructive feedback on each other’s material.
All levels welcome! Whether it’s your first song or 300th, come deepen the craft of songwriting with us.
There will be a concert at the end of the week for all of us to share our original songs!

About Grace Fellows
Grace is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator from Ojai, California. She grew up playing classical violin and fiddle and got her degree from CalArts in Experimental Pop (minored in music theory) and a Master’s from BIMM, London in Popular Music Practice.
Now she tours full-time with her partner, fiddler Corwin Zekley, playing original folk-pop songs and well-loved covers on piano and guitar, and creating a visual world and community for her music as Towse. Grace and Corwin also play traditional Celtic music as Raven & Goose and Grace is a powerhouse contra-pianist with a potent sense of rhythm. As a teacher, Grace’s curiosity and love of music is infectious. She has been teaching privately and in group settings for 16 years.
