Singing with Your Guitar
Are you new to self-accompaniment? We’ll learn to sing and play standard (a.k.a. simple!) bluegrass and country songs with 2 or 3 chords. This workshop is perfect for tentative/intermediate or even beginning guitar players who want to learn how to accompany themselves.
About Olivier Zyngier
Olivier Zyngier has been performing guitar and bass with Bluegrass and Swing bands in the Bay Area for several decades. He is a regular teacher at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley (Swing Guitar and Bluegrass Jam, French Café Songs), and has been teaching at various bluegrass camps and festivals. Olivier is a native French speaker, born and raised in Paris, and a local performer of French music with the band, Bistro Moustache. He is one of the original founders of the Baguette Quartette and has played all over the Bay Area for many years.
