Irish Tune Swap
This workshop spans two workshop periods, and you can drop in for one or both. Over the course of the week, we’ll learn 20 - 30 Irish tunes. All levels of skill are invited, but the workshop often caters to mid level (or better) players. Participants are encouraged to bring tunes to share, and you’ll want to bring a recording device. We have fun and become better musicians by learning new tunes.
About Daniel Schoenfeld
Daniel’s main melody instrument is the Irish button box, as well as being an accomplished Irish bouzouki and DADGAD guitar player. He has been playing music since he was a child and has played folk, rock, jazz, klezmer, finally playing Irish tunes since the early 90's. He plays gigs and sessions around the San Francisco Bay Area, and.has taught at Lark Camp since the early 2000s.
